When Julie's piece arrived in Spokane three spaces were done and covered and three were open. I chose the lower left hand one. I knew that Julie had done the one right next to the one I chose and the colors in her cover appealed to me so I decided to use those for my square.
I wish I'd taken a picture before I covered everything but the green curved piece and the two 'leaves' were supposed to echo the flowers in her green flowered cover. I got to try out some machine stitchery and actually got better at it. It was a good exercise for me besides being a fun piece to work on.
